Are you a seasoned recruiter looking for a 6-12 month contract?  Perhaps you are in-between roles and deciding whether to stay in agency recruitment or work in-house? TPP has the perfect opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Consultant who may be looking for flexibility or a bit more work life balance. The role is to join our highly successful and established Office and Specialist Support team and cover a Business Managers permanent desk during a period of maternity leave.

You will cover, maintain and service the requirements of existing clients and candidates and manage this desk with the highest level of customer care. The role will form part of a 7 person team and you will work alongside 3 other Permanent consultants. The Specialist Support division has the pleasure of working in partnership with many varied and interesting clients within the not for profit arena. As the leading specialist consultancy we enjoy servicing the Third and Public sector and placing candidates in their dream jobs.

The Role

The Office and Specialist Support team is the longest established of our eight divisions and has an excellent reputation. Within this team is one of our most successful Business Managers who has been working with us for over 9 years and bills £200K+. She will soon be due to go on maternity leave, therefore we are looking for a consultant who will have the ability to step into her shoes and do a fantastic job of covering for a period of 6-12 months. You’ll be recruiting across a wide range of support functions vital to the running of any not for profit organisation. The roles are interesting and varied with a large focus on data and database management roles as well as anything from entry level support to PA, research and advocacy, project coordination through to governance and senior level fundraising support roles.

You’ll never be bored working in this successful team, as the sheer range and diversity of the roles and clients makes the position varied and interesting.

 

The Ideal Candidate

Ideally we are looking for a Consultant who has experience of recruiting for the third or public sector, although this is not essential and we will certainly consider those from commercial agencies. The ideal candidate is someone who may be looking for more of an Account Management role with little to no business development needed and who has the ability to match the needs of candidates with those of our clients.  TPP offers a great working environment and you will work alongside experienced consultants and in a highly supportive team as well as hands on senior management. In return we are looking for someone who is motivated, hardworking and passionate about what they do with the ability to successfully match candidates to jobs. We have strong existing relationships with organisations and require someone who is willing to go the extra mile whilst also having the drive to seek and develop new networks and clients in this dynamic and rewarding sector.

  • We are looking for someone who has a successful track record in recruitment and account management
  • Ideally someone with the knowledge of database and office support roles particularly within the third or public sector
  • Strong ability to utilise platforms such as in house database and LinkedIn
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to build a strong rapport with key stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the not for profit sector (desirable)
